Once you know your FFL has received your firearm, call them and just ask when you can come in to do the necessary paperwork and take possession.

Once it's delivered they will call you and set up all the paperwork you need to fill out. Ensure you bring a form of ID and your CHL to make the process quicker.

Karl, buds adds your phone number to the package so the FFL dealer can call you when it's delivered but it's not required. So depending on the FFL some will call and let you know it's ready and some won't. Normally I give them 24-48 hours before I call them but if you know it's delivered you can go pick it up whenever. There's no mandatory waiting period, you can pick it up whenever as long as the FFL can do it then. So if it's been a few days since it's been delivered I'd recommend calling them or just stopping in. The FFL dealer I use normally calls me within an hour or two of being delivered but all FFL dealers will vary. Hope this helps.

Up to your ffl, and how busy they are. Mine calls me when he is ready for me. I always let him know when I am sending one his way.

Karl, usually when they contact you as they have to register it in their inventory. My local FFL only takes an hour or so after reception but this could vary slightly by individual FFL's. Just call em to find out for sure. Cheers and stay safe!
