  • What grain Magtech 9mm FMJ round would you use for a Taurus G2C pistol? 115gr or 124gr? Is one less prone to jamming?

  • Hi Paul, I have both the G2C and the G3C. Both will work but I prefer the 124gr as they have a smoother recoil impulse compared to the 115gr loads. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Paul, the Taurus G2C should function just fine with either grain. They're reliable firearms and pretty much any 9mm you find should do the trick. With that said I'd recommend grabbing some of each and see Wich one it likes best and is most reliable/accurate. Firearms can vary alot even being the same make/model. I could have the exact same pistol and mine might like 115 grain but be unreliable or inaccurate in yours or vice versa. With most firearms it's a buy and try deal. Hope this helps.

  • 6 of one half dozen the other to me. As mentioned, get a box of each and see which you prefer. Myself, I use JHP 147g 9mm for carry.

  • to be 100% honest you NEED to try both and shoot the one that is reliable and most accurate in your gun
