  • If my home state of Washington votes to ban "assault weapons" before my 10-day waiting period is up with the FFL will buds let me return the firearm?

  • Anthony, as long as the firearm has not been transferred to you, you can return it for a refund. Just contact Bud's customer service and explain the situation, they will issue a return shipping label to your FFL to have the firearm returned.

  • First off, I'm hoping this doesn't happen to you & the rest of the state!!
Secondly, yes, you can just not complete the transfer from your FFL it's shipped to and return it for a full refund!!
    Good luck brother!!!

  • Anthony, yes if Washington bans it before you transfer the firearm into your name you can return it for a full refund. You can return it for any reason before the transfer. I always recommend to people that they look over the firearm thoroughly before doing any paperwork because if there's any issues like it's broke, finish has scratches, or doesn't look like buds photo you can return it. Once it's transferred into your name it's officially yours and cannot be returned. If there's any issues just deny the transfer and your FFL will ship it back to buds, no charge to you and you will be refunded. Hope this helps and hopefully Washington doesn't go through with it.

  • Hi Anthony, yes Sir. The firearm does not belong to you until the actual local FFL Dealer transfer happens. Buds would arrange pickup in such an event and issue you a full refund. Cheers and stay safe!
