  • Hey yall. I just purchased a
    Tisas 1911 Stingray Carry B9BA 9MM 4.25 ENHANCED 9RD EB - 4.25" Barrel, 9+1 Rounds, Iron Sights.
My question is, are the sights easily changed with a drift tool? I've read older posts that say the fronts are pinned and not easily interchangeable.
    Thanks for any help!!

  • Jonah, you sure can. The Tisas 1911 Stingray Carry uses Novak style sights, so both front and back are attached using a dovetail cut and can easily be removed/replaced using a sight pusher. So you shouldn't have any problem replacing them. Hope this helps and you're very welcome. If interested here's a link to a inexpensive sight pusher I've used with multiple handguns like 1911s, Beretta M9A1, and so on and has been well worth it's money.
