Randy, it could be a couple reasons and we're just customers as yourself not buds employees, so would just be guessing to what it could be. As Edward said if you live in a strict gun control state they might need your foid or fid card. Could be something simple like the name on the credit card is different than the name of the person making the order. Likely something small that buds needs to confirm before shipping. I'd recommend contacting buds customer service at 859-368-0371 Monday thru Friday 9am to 8pm or you can use the blue chat button at the bottom right corner of your screen. They'll be able to straighten everything out. Sorry you're having trouble but hope this helps.
Randy, in certain states, you need a FOID or FID card (Firearms ID card) to purchase firearms & ammunition. If you live in one of these states, this could be the reason. Not sure why Bud's would need this for a handgun purchase, unless you also purchased some ammunition. Since ammo is shipped straight to your house, Bud's would need a copy. It can be uploaded here budsgunshop.com/contact_us.php?printform=ffl .....or fax it to 1-800-804-5569, or email to FFL@Budsgunshop.com. I can't think of any other reason they would need verification.
