  • Ferdinand, no lower receiver showing. If you are referring to a 80% unfinished lower they are no longer legal in California. On July 1, 2022 California banned 80% Lowers. It's now illegal to purchase, posses, transfer or finish a 80% lower. If it's a finished lower receiver it would be shipped to your FFL dealer and is treated like a firearm. Sorry but hope this helps.

  • Ferdinand, unfortunately 80% Lowers are now considered "Firearms" in Cali per Per AB 1621, effective July 1, 2022. Definitely and unfortunate piece of legislation. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Are 80% lowers illegal in CA?
Per AB 1621, effective July 1, 2022, CA began to legally define 80 lowers as firearms, despite this contradicting ATF federal policies. It's also illegal to purchases, possess, transfer or build out these parts to completion.

  • Ferdinand, you can no longer register a 80% lower in CA. As of July 1, 2022, the state of California completely outlawed the possession, ownership, and or sales of 80% lowers and related products.
