Damion, I'd contact Rossi customer service at 1-229-210-2727 because apparently Rossi says specifically not to fire slugs threw this that it can damage the shotgun. I've read reviews of people shooting slugs threw the Rossi tuffy 410 but I'd contact Rossi to be safe. Sorry can't give a definite answer but hope this helps some.
