Hi Jacob, It is a Smooth Bore and Foster type Slugs are recommended through the Improved Cylinder Choke for best accuracy from a smooth bore barrel (Full Choke causes too much deformation and pressure build up). Absolutely, you can send "Rifled" slugs through the "Improved Cylinder".

Jacob, yes sir, this has a smooth bore and will work fine with rifled slugs. This comes with 3 Mobile Chokes (Full, Modified and Improved cylinder) choke set. You will get the best accuracy with rifled/foster type slugs and the improved cylinder. Hope this helps.
