Robert, depends on how wallet friendly you want. Personally the best budget scope I've come across is a arken EP5, Just Google arken. Their website was doing a 25% discount with code (save25%) they're normally $529 but with the code can be had for $397. Not sure if they're still doing it but worth a shot. I just bought one for a 10/22 build and one of the best scopes under a grand I've found. Personally for a good budget friendly scope the arkens the route I'd go. They give 30 day refunds and lifetime warranty's. Their turrets are some of the best I've come across and great Japanese Ed glass.
