What type of safety does this gun have?
Hi Mandisa and welcome. There is no Manual Safety on this Glock pistol. It does have a trigger bar safety, a drop safety for the sear and firing pin so it won't discharge if dropped. There are also two safety's that many fail to mention and that is the one between the users' ears and training for proper gun handling. Cheers and stay safe!
Hi Mandisa, the Glock has a trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety. This is a fully automatic safety system consisting of three passive, independently operating, mechanical safeties. All three safeties disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when the trigger is released. There is no manual thumb safety.
Stay safe & have a great day!
