This has been Buds policy since before 3 years ago when they would not open packages nor ship firearms to non compliant states if the package/accessories were not State compliant already. At least you can get the firearm now. Money down the drain is relative since prepackaged magazines are not as costly as retailed priced magazines which any replacement compliant magazines would be. This is really a glass half full, half empty scenario depending on the side you are on. Cheers and enjoy the firearm!

Jeffrey, Bud's will remove the magazines, but will not replace them or give you credit. As you said, it's pretty much money down the drain. Sorry, but this is Bud's policy.
