Bounvikone, from what I have always understood, the CA fin grip is a grey area in NY. The law is too vague and never tested in court. Suffolk County PD sent out a letter to FFLs telling them fin grips are not legal.
Maybe Jason will chime in, he is from NY and I'm sure he would know.
