Hi Dan, yes sir, this is a semi-auto pistol, ejects and re-loads after each round. Double action only (DAO) refers to a type of semi-automatic pistol where every trigger pull both c0cks and releases the hammer. This means that the trigger pull is consistently heavy throughout, offering no option for manually cocking the hammer. The slide does not recock the hammer during the firing cycle.
