  • Did read that m&p 9mm carbine has a 10 lb trigger ? I can't find the that now but a swear I read that and if so why such a heavy trigger.

  • Hi Mike, there are 2 models on the S&W web site, the standard model and the state compliant model, neither has a 10lb trigger.
    There are some handguns that have 10lb triggers to be MA compliant, but no carbines that I'm aware of.

  • only the guns for sale in MA have the 10 lb trigger (MA requires a 10lb trigger pull) the others run between 5-6 lbs

  • Hi Mike and welcome. The current production M&P 9mm Carbines have a trigger pull of 5.5lbs average so 5lbs to 6lbs. The model uses essentially the same pistol grip setup as the M&P Pistols which do have a 10lb Trigger Pull for MA compliance. The Carbines are not included in that 10lb trigger pull group.
