further UPDATE I contacted buds and after review it is serialized and will now require shipment to a FFL for transfer like any other handgun

As I said, must go to a FFL. It was mis-categorized and Bud's check-out was not requiring a FFL. Once it was put into the correct category, 'serialized frames & receivers' , it requires a FFL.

bases on the fact that when I put it in my cart it was set to ship to my home instead of a ffl by my understand a serialized frame is a firearm and require shipment to a FFL please Contact Buds customer service by using the blue chat now button and they will help you We are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions
