Hi Ricky, there are conflicting reports on this. The legacysports.com website says '24″ Threaded Carbon Fiber Heavy Barrel Contour with brake 5/8″-24' , (legacysports.com/carbon-flag-chassis/) but the 2024 catalog shows steel.
The Howa website says 'Our factory barrels are cold hammer forged steel' (howausa.com/rifles/apc_rifle/)
