One good thing, they haven't included Bolt action rifles, so this is good to go in Illinois.

yes it is Cook county legal ✔ Bolt-action rifles of any caliber with a fixed or detachable magazine that does not exceed 10

Hi Jacb, yes sir, this is Illinois legal. Bolt action shotguns do not have the same restrictions as semi-auto's do.
