  • Hi Brandon, yes, I would consider this a higher end lever action. You load the tubular magazine through the side gate with this rifle.

  • These models just use the terminology "Tubemag" just because it is tube fed. You actually do load them into the tube through the side gate.

  • The magazine is tubular by definition, a tube that holds rounds. It can still be loaded with the side gate which is in fact the only way to load this model.
