Is this barrel cold hammer forged? Also would the ruger 556 mpr be a similar or better choice?

Hi Jeremy, this has a 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Barrel. The Ruger 556 MPR has a Cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel. Chf barrels have the advantage of being stronger due to molecular alignment over non chf barrels.
If you want a cold hammer forged barrel, go with the Ruger, they are otherwise similar, with Ruger having the slight edge.
