How to fix issue. First round fires, second doesn't feed. Bolt stuck halfway. Tried duff ammo & mags. AR is brand new. These were first shots.

Hi Gary and welcome. I would disassemble and clean, lube the bolt carrier group. Then insert a loaded magazine and manually cycle the rounds through the magazine. Reload the magazine and try firing again. If it still does the same, then the issue is the rifle and will likely require Service by the manufacturer. Cheers and stay safe!
