Iver Johnsons are excellent firerms. I collect 10mm and have never had one I didn't like.

I have been a member of the Glocktalk 10-Ring since it's beginning. I own too many 10mm's. Yeah, I'm a 10mm collector. The Ivers's are not as robust as the Colt DE's. It faces the same issues that the original Colts had with frame batter that was taken care of with relief cuts in the frame. I think it is fine with standard 10mm loads. I would stay away from Buffalo Bore, Doubletap and Underwood "Full Power" ammunition. I also think that if used for hunting, a higher lb recoil spring would make it ok for limited hunting. It really is a 45 frame in 10mm clothing so it will need fortifying if you intend to shoot true 10mm loads. I have a 6inch stainless version that has been modified to live with limited 10mm full power loads. 40 level 10mm loads are a non issue.
