  • I'm not aware of the existence of any updated model of the CSX since it launched, so I'd say first release. The most recent 2.0 model S&W pistol I can think of is the new SD9.

  • Hi Karen and welcome. unfortunately, one would need the serial number to get the date of manufacture from Smith and Wesson. buds sells thousands of guns per month and this is likely a recent model. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
