Wisdom of using a suppressou

I would like to use a suppressor so as to not disturb neighbors with the noise from my .308 gunsight scout. However, I don't want to be harassed by homeland security or ATF. Is it worth the hassle?

As long as you follow the rules and have the NFA paperwork and tax stamp there should be no hassle. They may check you out but that should be the end of it

In my opinion yes. You only need to go through the hassle once, but worth it in every since of the word.

It also positions you for easier acquisition of future NFA items as well. Your neighbors will benefit audibly and you from the procedure. I say go for it, I did and haven't looked back. Welcome to the softer "Bang" Club.
