The never a stovepipe, jam or hiccup is for that one gun and even guns from the same manufacturer can have different tolerances and ammo preferences. To aid maximizing the reliability of any firearm, fire around 50rd of your carry ammo, field strip, clean/lube. Number your magazines so you can know which were in the pistol during any failure. Yeah, this would be a very reliable handgun for sure. A lot of positive reviews out there for this Springfield Armory XD!!

I got an XD in 45 when they first came out. Never had a jam, stove pipe, or any other problem.
