Isn't the charging handle suppose to stay open when you pull it back on a Diamondback Firearms DB9R PCC 9mm 16"? Mine won't.

Hi Michael and welcome. It will lock back on last shot of an empty magazine and/or by holding the bottom of the slide release on the left side just like an AR. Cheers and stay safe!

Hi Michael, you have to press in on the bottom of the bolt catch while pulling back on the charging handle. The bolt catch/release button is on the left side of the receiver, above and in front of the trigger.
Stay safe & have a great day!
