What makes the "Massachusetts" model different from the standard model?
The firearm manufacturers must submit all models separately for testing (even if only minor changes exist) and approval. Not all have been and will likely make the list update in 1/2018. This is expensive and many manufacturer's simply do not submit all models even nearly identical ones. mass.gov/files/documents/2017/12/01/Approved%20Firearms%20Roster%2011-2017.pdf
I'd go with the extreme model you asked about earlier. It's one of my best shooters and the price is excellent on it. If they would ship to Ca still I would've already bought it.
There really is no difference. I have the Ca model and it is the same as my Ca non compliant model. The grips are a little different on mine.
