I am not sure what problems you are talking about. If you are qualified to own a AR pistol and it is allowed in your state it should be no more problems than any other handgun

No. The Bushmaster and other AR Pistols are legal and governed by State handgun laws. You should have no issues if it meets your state requirements for handguns.
