Racking the 84FS

Several people have stated that it is difficult to rack this weapon. The only thing I can compare its with is a Rider SR40 which I have trouble racking. Does anyone know if the 380 has a lighter spring than the Ruger SR40? SERIOUSLY thinking about replacing the SR40 and selling it if the 380 has a lighter spring.

Richard, since it may be easy for some and hard for others, I would suggest a local gun shop run to try it first hand. This is really the only way to get what works for you.

I suggest seeing if a local FFL holder/range has one you can look at or even rent to try out

The Beretta 84 FS is hard to rack. Try a SIG 238.
