I'm planning on getting my husband a new gun for his 50th birthday, I just don't know what to get him. I've heard him talk about a 308 and whatever he has now he says is to heavy and long so it needs to be light and short. He would use it mostly for deer hunting. I can't really spend more than $800 for the gun and scope.
