The weight listed in various places online for this particular rifle varies from anywhere between 5.8 lbs to 8.3 lbs. Does anyone know the real weight?

Hi Robert, since the weight is not listed on the BPI Outdoors web site, I would contact BPI for an accurate answer 770-449-4687.
NOTE - there are some fake CVA web sites that give the weight as 5.8 lbs.
