I am a Florida resident without a CCW Permit, therefore, I am required to endure the mandatory 3-day waiting period on Pistol purchases. I was wondering if purchasing a gun from Buds, does the 3 day wait start upon purchase of the gun from Buds, or does it start when the FFL receives it? Thanks in advance!

As far as your 3 day wait on the handgun, the wait starts when you fill out the paperwork at your local FFL. I am also a florida resident, and the 3 day wait does not start when you buy or ship the gun or when the FFL receives it, It starts when your background check is called in and approved. It has to be three full days after the background check cleared. Hope this helps.
