Savage AXIS XP 3006 W/SCP

I am wanting to buy a Savage AXIS XP 30-06 W/SCP and put a Boyd's Thumbhole stock on it, I am Needing to know if that gun has a Long or short Action I can't tell by the pictures,... does anyone know for sure ? Thanks !

It is a long action. I own a couple different Savage models and not all seem to have a lot of aftermarket accessories nor magazines. If you can find any, they are usually pretty expensive

That gun is a long action. General rule of thumb for long action if 270 or bigger, and 260 or smaller are short actions. Now there are some exceptions to that but it is just a general rule of thumb so to speak. Hope this helps.

Per Savage, model 19234 is long-action.
