These pistols are virtual identical in reliability, support and range of accessories. this will boil down to what your preferred action type is . That in itself will be the determining factor for one over the other.

Both are equally good. The SIG is double action only hammer fired and the VP9 is single action striker fired. Pick what trigger system you prefer.

both are nice but I would choose the P250 because The p250 will give you serious versatility and not to mention Sig quality. With one FCU you can have a carry pistol, night stand pistol, range pistol and each can be fit to your hand with the multiple grip sizes
