I got my "new" S&W 686 and it was kinda dirty and the side panels were scratched up. The gunsmith at the receiving FFL store asked me if I bought it used. This was sold as a new gun so not sure what to think.

I’m trying to find decent wood grips for an older Taurus PT 92 AF 9mm with no decocker. Can Beretta grips be made to fit with a little woodworking skill? I’ve found some original wood grips on eBay, but they were rough. And I’ve started a dialog with a craftsman in Thailand but he’s waiting for hardwood to come in, month + Any help is appreciated, thanks
