Hi all which is best to use for protection the Federal P9HS2 Hydra-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point or the Federal P9HS1 Hydra-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point? Also do we really need to buy a few hundred rounds to practice with a new gun? I hope not that gets costly in my opinion. Thats what I keep reading. Thank you.

I really want these Ruger SR9E 17+1 9MM 4.1" but bud just email me said my magazine is 17rd which restriction in CA law so are there any way they can modify the mag to only 10rd instead of 17rd?I just want same exact gun and wonder if they can just send me 10rd mag to work with these gun that would be fine with me.
