• Q: I am a very green novice when it comes to gun ownership and experience. Would this be a good choice for both concealed carry and home defense? Size wise, I'm 6'1" and 193 lbs. Some arthritis in dominant hand. Or, can some of you experienced shooters recommend a better choice? I'm hoping to stay at 450.00 or lower. Thanks very much. Philip

• Q: Does the safety recall affect this series and has the last shot jam been solved?

  "It does NOT apply to all SHIELD™ pistols. To determine whether your M&P Shield EZ Pistol is affected, check the label on the box to determine date of manufacture and if manufacture date is between March 1, 2020 and October 31, 2020 – your pistol may be affected. In this case (or if you are unsure of your date of manufacture), simply go to MPShieldEZrecall.com and input your serial number, or call 888-871-7114 ."
  That is a direct copy and paste from SW website, when they launched the recall all of the affected models had by buds and other retailers were sent back to SW.
  Buds only has one available serial number left of this gun "RJH6078" and when I run it through the recall tracker it says "not affected"

  No unfortunately it is not Juan. There are currently no 380ACP handguns made by Smith and Wesson that are on the California approved handgun roster.
