I have a new .22 Salvage Bolt and have seen on internet about using standard velocity (1000-1100 FPS) lead ammo to lap a barrel. They clean barrel, shoot 100 rounds, shoot 100 more rounds, clean barrel, shoot 100 more rounds, clean barrel and process is complete. Anyone ever done this or know for sure it really works????
