Just so everyone is a where these rifles are no longer an Acusport exclusive rifle, do to the fact Acusport is no longer in business. Also the Bergara B-17 Premier barreled action is mounted into a PDC Custom chassis. PDC Custom has been building chassis for over 18 years and is a Michigan based company.

Most guns chambered in .44 Magnum are also compatible with the 44 Special cartridge. But where ever I see the X-Caliber Adapter Set listed, they never list 44 Special as a viable caliber addition (such as the .357 Mag is compatible with .38 Special). Can the .44 Mag adapter indeed fire the 44 Special? If not, why??
