Thanks. I was certain it was legal in NYS. By the way, your answer suggests checking some green box. There is no such box presented in my view of this page or the given answers. I tried two different browsers. I consider this answered, but my real question was for Bud's. They need to update the item listing.

Curious why the descriptive info for this shotgun says “semi-automatic”, when it is actually a pump-action model. Living in the nanNY state where I do, a semi-auto shotgun with removable mag is considered an assault weapon and thus banned. Leery of ordering due to possible mix-up with state laws.

I have already reviewed the rifle and wanted to post a question, as well as an answer that may help other customers. Which scope mounts does this rifle take? The answer is Interarms Mark X or Remington 798 . Talley is a great brand and they have scope/base combo for about $60.
