At the gun store last weekend and the brace law and SBR rules rules came up with the guy at counter and he told the brace law was no longer in effect. Is that true and if so does it mean a SBR no longer requires a tax stamp? Thank you

Hi there. Thanks for the former replies regarding my planned purchase of a Glock 19 Gen 5. One more for the experts if you don't mind is whether there are some solid alternatives to the Glock 19 Gen 5 that have a manual/thumb safety option as opposed to just the trigger safety (and other internal safety mechanisms of the Glock 19. I did not know about the lack of a traditional thumb safety w/ the Glock 19 variants and tbh, I'd prefer something very good with a manual safety. Thanks for any tip
