My great-great grandfather used to have a 9 shot revolver chambered in .22, (long story-short) it was stolen . It was finished like the charcoal bluing of the Uberti's and had mother of pearl grips. For action type, I have seen both "striker fire" and "double action only". I think they are the same for hammerless semi-autos. Does DOA simply mean there is no hammer and no way to de-cock the gun?

I just ordered a Sig p320 compact carry from our friends here at Bud's. I'm wondering if the p320's being sold now have been upgraded to the drop safe configuration as per the Sig voluntary upgrade offer? The offer was extended to dealers as well as consumers so I'm wondering if the pistol I just ordered has already been taken care of? Does anyone know?
