It appears the slide on the kimber 3200108ca is cut/milled to accept the target site configuration. The slide on the 3200327 is not. So 2 different models. Am I correct or missing something?

Looks like one is ca compliant and other is not. Can the sites on the “target” model be changed out to night sites of my choice. Basically making it the same as the 3200327 model? My FFL dealing said he cannot accept a model NUMBER not on the DOJ list. Not model name. Any thoughts, hope I’m not beating a dead horse. Thanks!
