I want to replace the military sights with at least a 3 dot sight but can not find sights that fit this 1911 . Dawson makes a front sight fiber optical sight but not a rear sight. Can you guys make a suggestion on upgrading the sights. thanks Tom

I have a S&W 500 pistol and want to change the 10 1/2" barrel to a shorter maybe around 5" for better carry. Does anyone know of a source for either factory or after market barrel ? I hate to cut the longer barrel
