One person said it’s legal one person said it was not. It is a semi automatic it does have a detachable magazine and has a threaded barrel. no pistol grip but the other two I think will be a no go for New York. Before I purchase this I want to make 100% sure.

Just purchased an EUROPEAN AMERICAN ARMORY 111370 AKKAR 612 PUMP 12GA 18IN and this is suppose to use 3.5 inch shells but it seems as if the shells are too big. It's not ejecting and it was hard to actually put a shell in the chamber.

I can't tell by blowing this up if this is technically a ar15 in 22 or a riffle made to look like it . in Maryland I cant have this if this falls under ar15 without being heavy barrel , but if this is not technically a ar platform then its just a 22 long gun . anyone know if this is a ar or just a mold to look very close ?

NY safe act states any weapon with a detachable magazine and a scary feature is an assault weapon. It also says any pump action is not...so where would this fall? Seeing this is a pump action I will assume it is legal in my county (Westchester). I live in NY state NOT NYC.
