I see the Stevens 301 compact has a shorter barrel but is the stock full size or is this a youth model ? Also, will the 4 inch shorter barrel make a significant difference in range and pattern?

what is the series of Mini 14 Model 5817 being sold as of Dec 2018. Are those 582, 583? 584? Anybody purchased one in 2018 and can share prefix? Buds Chat service had no clue. Trying to find out if those are new guns or "new-old stock with pencil barrels) Also, I understand that only difference between model 5817 and 5805 is detachable magazine capacity. Is it correct?

Does anyone know the rate of twist and weight on this rifle. I have seen everything from 1:7 to 1:9 twist and weights range from 6.5 to 8 lbs. Also does it have an AR-15 or M16 bcg?

Hello Buds community. I am new to the Buds community/customer, love buds so far and last month or so I purchased a new Wasr-10 from here. Well due to working so much, I haven’t even gone out to shoot it yet. Was cleaning all my rifles tonight and there was a broken 4-5 inch piece of yellow plastic rod in my barrel... I am now worried about the integrity of this gun entirely. I purchased the additional “buds warranty” or whatever it’s called. Don’t know what to do. Afraid to shoot it now.
