I put about 5 to 6 (30) round magazines through my brand new ARX100 and it just stopped firing. The trigger works so I was thinking maybe it was the firing pin. If anyone has had the same problem or knows of this problem I would like to know if there is a fix or should I just return it.

I would prefer to inspect a rifle prior to purchase. Seeing that there has been concern over quality issues with some of the Marlin's, would it be safe to assume that Bud's inventory is recent inventory? Is there any way to determine the date of manufacture prior to purchase?

Well, this is what I'm seeing in the different descriptions... Comes with "sling, swivels and scope base" AND, Comes with "Sling swivels and scope base".... Both meaning something different!!! Should I order a sling with it or not!? Thanks Again Everyone^__^ The descriptions here are very SLOPPY at best!!! Price and selection wins out though... I guess^__^

I was watching a video review of this gun and the speaker said something about a proprietary nut holding this handguard, which made me think that it might be hard if not impossible to upgrade or change out this handguard in the future (which would seem very strange). Can someone confirm if this handguard is connected in the 'standard' way to the upper and can be readily changed, if desired?
