Your serious the minimal one should have is 6 for the 9mm Taurus? Here I thought I was savvy with the 4 :-(. Okay back to drawing board. I have 4 they are all 12rds I was thinking since carry is rarely used at best, 1 of the mags would be enough but I see I was wrong. For the carry could I get away with a mag that holds 10 not 12 and save all 12's for range? If not then how many carry would I need to keep on hand and how many do I carry on me? Do I need to get 2 more for range to equal 6? Thanks

Oh my not sure of some of what you said about reload and the primers and powder but I think you make your own bullets your telling me lol. Better you then me I get scared thinking of making them and blowing up my hand or face for that matter. Hey can you make me bullets and I pay you instead lol. Anyway but that is oh so much in weapons and I am struggling to learn a .38 special and the Taurus which is a feat upon itself. Thank you for all your help I really am grateful to you guys!

Thank you again James. I will just bite the bullet and get the one you guys said the Win in a can for 211.00. If I bought the bulk Id still have to buy little cases to hold them which would be more money thus defeating the purpose of saving not spending. Also my daughter asked why am I getting so many at one time and I told her I stop at the range when I finish a box of 50 then have to buy another box so was going to try bulk and see how it goes. Don't think she bought that one iota :-(. Bedtime

Thank you for the info I will stay away from NATO even thou its a bit but not much but a bit cheaper. Okay please tell me about these bulk loose ammo is that safe to get Id of thought the bullets would be stressed out moving all around since they are not in separate boxes. Seems kind of dangerous to use bullets not boxed. What are your thoughts on them?

I found this ammo" Winchester USA Handgun Ammunition 9mm Luger 124 gr FMJ 1000/ct 1140fps. (Nato) and was wondering why the can says NATO what does it mean? Oh about mags I have 4 for the PT111 I use 3 for range and 1 for protection. Should I use all 4 for range and buy the mag that hold 10rds not 12rds like the others are" It will hopefully help me not mix up the mags for range and mag for carry. I think I was told by you James the mag that holds 10 fits the PT111 also.Thanks

wow that is a very interesting way to look at it. Do you know if the magtechs come in bulk either 115 or 124 gr? Also do they have one for the revolver I have?

Hi James that ammo is for both defense and for range practice? for 50 rds it is $16.15 I can see it being high due to the uses but isn't that as bit high to spend on range paper targets? Yes a box 2 put away for my at home gun the revolver .38 special I think it is never shot it have to practice with that one also is good idea but to use it at range I was hoping to get bulk for range so I can practice and get to like this strong recoil Taurus at a much lower price before starting on pistol lol

Hi Randi. I have never used the brand you mentioned then looked it up and its from Italy not the USA and other shooters told me to stay away ammo coming from other countries so I was wondering how they work for you? Also have you ever tried Winchester because that is all my baby ever shot I am kind of an anal person being old :-) so I tend to stick to the same ole unless I am shown a better way so can you please tell me of your experiences with this brand :-). Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much Michael W, Randi I, James G. So hard to pick just 1. Anyway Michael may I please add a question to your response so I can better decide the bullets to use for practice. Michael while your answer is cheaper then the can/bullets if I was to buy that can w/o bullets what would it cost since bullets would be $199.08. Do I save getting the can w/bullets or get can separately? Yes I tend to over analyze wish I could stop but I'm old and set in my ways. Thank you

James you gave me a bullet that is 124gr but I am used to 115 gr is there a difference and is 124 ok for my Taurus? I was told to stay away from dirty ammo no clue what that means but I need ammo just for range practice and not expensive and wont hurt my PT111 Taurus. What do you recommend? Would like to buy at least 1k if affordable. Thanks

I just bought a 1911 Rock Island Model 51962 .22TCM/9mm Ultra FS TACT. This is my first handgun and would like to know what kind 9mm ammo I should use. It came chambered for .22 and by looking at the striker I see it's not centered so I assume its rim-fire design? I'm going to change it to 9mm but noticed the 9mm ammo is center-fire type. Will the 9mm center-fire ammo work? Many thanks!

The box in the photo states "Managed Recoil" but the UPC listed for this item is for the non-Managed Recoil version of this slug (the Premier Copper Solid). I'd like to verify this before purchasing since all ammunition sales are final. Thanks!
