I just found out from buds that as per new layaway policy as of 7/25/18 the 1st 30 days of a 90 day layaway is free then there is a $10.00 charge for the next 30 day and a $15.00 charge for the last 30 days also all layaways are at the non cash price From the layaway page "There is no fee to use this Layaway plan for the first 30 days. For your convenience after 30 days, we will automatically add a nominal fee to your balance to extend it. The fee is $10 for 30 extra days, and $15 for 30 more

Just picked this up at my local FFL, getting ready to fire it for the first time but I can't tell if this is 5.56 or .223. The barrel is not marked, and the only marking is on the magwell/lower. Some sites say .223/5.56 while others say 5.56 that can shoot .223. I've heard there are issues if you shoot enough 5.56 through a .223 chamber, but this is all new to me so I'm lost. Anyone know if this is 5.56 that can support .223, or is this a .223 that can sometimes shoot 5.56?

I’ve looked into further, and reached out to Kriss. The hinge (pre 2017) and non hinge BOTH have the same SKU#. They told me the only way to know, when purchasing, is to have the seller physically check the firearm for hinge or no hinge. So, has anyone checked this one?
