I'm looking for sling mounting options. What is the size of the tube end cap? I want to see if I can replace the factory one with one that has an attachment point. Hi I'm a big fan of this gun. One of the smoothest triggers and better factory sights of any of my firearms. I know this says Optics Ready in both the header and description but the pictures don't indicate that. I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger on this. Pun intended. Up till now I've been that I don't need a Red Dot guy but having just won a raffle where the prize was a M&P with Optics included suddenly I'm rebuying all my guns with OR.

The 2 pictures of the weapon in this product page appear to be 2 different weapons. The tip of the barrel is longer in one picture than the other. Does this gun actually have the longer or the shorter tip?

Is this the HK Mark 24? I know the Mark 24 is a designation by the US Navy SWC however is this essentially the same pistol? There's another HK 45 tactical but I believe the Mark 24 was a compact 45.
