Can anyone tell me the purpose of the drop down list on some gun models that give a listing of available serial numbers. On production model pistols what is the purpose of listing the available serial numbered guns, given that in most cases there are large numbers of the same model produced. Why the listing of serial numbers unless it is a limited edition, antique or rare in some instances, etc. Anyone know?? Thanks for any help that anyone might offer to solve my question. Thanks all.
